By downloading, installing, or using the Voca mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Andrii Kovalchuk, a private entrepreneur registered in Ukraine ("we," "us," or "our").
Voca is a vocabulary learning application that helps users build language skills through spaced repetition flashcard review sessions. Features include manual card creation, AI-assisted word information generation, daily review scheduling, learning statistics, and cloud synchronization across devices.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent.
To access the full functionality of the App, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for:

Voca offers optional paid subscription plans (monthly and yearly) that unlock premium features, including unlimited card creation, unlimited AI-assisted word generation, and unlimited daily reviews.
Free accounts are subject to the following limits:
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize the respective platform to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. Price changes will take effect at your next renewal. We will provide advance notice via the App or email.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple or Google account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to premium features until that date.
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests are handled in accordance with their respective refund policies. We do not independently issue refunds outside of those platform processes.
You retain ownership of all content you create within the App, including flashcard decks, cards, and associated data ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit your User Content solely as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., cloud synchronization).
We do not use your User Content for any other purpose, including marketing, training AI models, or sharing with third parties, except as described in our Privacy Policy.
The App uses Google Gemini AI to generate word definitions, transcriptions, usage examples, and other linguistic information. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of AI-generated content. You are solely responsible for verifying any information before relying on it for educational or other purposes.

The App, including its design, code, algorithms, trademarks, and all non-user-generated content, is the exclusive property of Andrii Kovalchuk. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our intellectual property other than as necessary to use the App as intended.
The App integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms and privacy policies:
We are not responsible for the practices or content of these third-party services.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, if we determine that you have:
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Deleted account data is purged in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANDRII KOVALCHUK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR LOSS OF PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
The App is currently available in select countries and will be expanded over time. We reserve the right to restrict access to the App in any region at our sole discretion.
We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify you via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of competent jurisdiction located in Kyiv, Ukraine.
